Taku Harbor is a natural, bowl shaped harbor that was once home to a major salmon cannery. Taku Harbor is now frequently used as a night anchorage by commercial fishing boats and small tour ships. It is also a popular destination point for Juneau recreational boaters. Taku Harbor offers lots of fishing and crabbing opportunities.
