Families to Parks at Independence Mine State Historical Park!
Saturday September 5, 2020: at Independence Mine State Historical Park. Meet us at the main building, from 12 noon to 3 PM for some Families to Parks fun!
This event is intended for families to enjoy together but is geared towards kids in grades K through 5. We will provide activities for your kids in this timeframe so come any time before 230 and enjoy this beautiful historical park with AKontheGo, Alaska State Parks, and try goldpanning with Salmon Berry Tours! We will be giving our 50th Anniversary Posters away during this event. Bring your adventurous spirits…See you there!

Events will be taking place the second saturday of every month! Here is what we have coming up:

We will have self-guided activities, a craft, and a staff or a Ranger available to answer questions or do a nature hike.
Noon - 3 p.m.
Open house format, so come anytime in this timeframe.

Bring your family to our series of quarterly events at a different State Park area each season, highlighting kid-friendly activities in Alaska State Parks.
