Junior Ranger Adventure Journal

Alaska State Parks Ranger Adventure Journal

Designed to inspire curiosity, exploration, and stewardship, our newest Junior Adventure Journal invites young adventurers to discover Alaska’s incredible parks through fun activities, learning opportunities, and outdoor challenges. The journal encourages families to get outside, explore together, and build lasting connections with Alaska’s natural landscapes. The Junior Adventure Journal will be arriving this summer, so keep an eye out at Alaska State Parks locations and events. We can’t wait to share this new resource with families as we continue to support the next generation of park stewards.

Upcoming Events

STAY TUNED! Future Families to Park events coming soon.

Our goal for Families to Parks events is to encourage families of all sizes and abilities to visit our parks to get a taste of what our outdoor spaces have to offer! While our events are intended for ALL humans, these events are great for families new to Alaska, brought up by work or the military that are getting acquainted with their new home, and for families that are just looking to get their families outside and learn more about their environment and community. This event will focus on the history of the mine and the unique environment in which it resides.
