50th Anniversary Photo Contest
2020 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of Alaska State Parks, and the State of Alaska Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation is celebrating with a 50th Anniversary Photo Contest!
We are looking for high quality images taken of or within any area managed by Alaska State Parks during any season from any year. There are no specific categories for the contest; photos can include, but are not limited to:
- People travelling, playing, resting, or working
- Plants, Animals, fish, and birds
- Scenic Views
- Historic structures or sites
- Aerial or underwater perspectives
The photo contest will run every month in 2020, beginning on the first day of the month and ending on the last day of the month. All entries must be received by the last day of the month. Monthly winners will receive an Annual Day-Use Parking Pass and an Alaska State Parks t-shirt. Please see the official contest rules for additional information.
