This event is intended for families to enjoy together but is geared towards kids in grades K through 5. We will be giving our 50th Anniversary Posters away during this event. Upcoming Events

Events will be taking place the second saturday of every month! Here is what we have coming up:

-11/14: Matanuska Lakes
-12/12: Glen Alps
-1/9: Government Peak
-2/13: Potter Marsh

We will have self-guided activities, a craft, and a staff or a Ranger available to answer questions or do a nature hike.

Noon - 3 p.m.
Open house format, so come anytime in this timeframe.

Bring your family to our series of quarterly events at a different State Park area each season, highlighting kid-friendly activities in Alaska State Parks. At these events, learn hands-on skills like fishing, camping, hiking, biking, and planning and packing for each.
