Friends Groups for Alaska State Parks

Friends of State Park organizations assist Alaska State Parks with improving and maintaining park facilities. These organizations can apply for grants, have fund-raising activities and volunteer workshops. There are five active Friends groups currently.

Become a Member of "Friends of State Parks, Mat-Su"

Friends of State Parks, Mat-Su is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement of recreational resources in state parks in the Mat-Su Valley. The board works closely with local state park staff and the Mat-Su Valley State Parks Citizens Advisory Board to improve recreational opportunities.
