Alaska State Park Fees

Annual camping passes are no longer available. The program was discontinued in 2004.

Annual passes:
  • Daily Parking Pass: $40
    • Second Daily Parking Pass*: $20
  • Boat Launch Pass: $75
    • Second Boat Launch Pass*: $40
  • Discount when both passes bought together: $100
    • (discount of $15)
  • Disabled Veteran's Annual Camping Pass - Free
*Second pass discount for same family at same address only. Third and subsequent day use and boat launch passes are full price.

Note: Some parks are managed by private firms and do not accept day use and boat launch passes. Contact your local park office for more information. Also see the fee listing by facility for more information.



Paper Park Pass Order Form

Individual Fees:
  • Nightly camping: $10 to $20 per night
  • Daily parking: $1 to $5 per vehicle
  • Boat launches: $10 to $15 per day
  • Sanitary dump station: $5
  • Firewood: $5 to $8 per bundle where available
  • Guided tours of historic sites: $2 to $10

  • Quartz Lake SRA, near Delta Junction: $20 non-peak / $25 peak per night;
  •    Ice fishing huts, $15 per day
  • Fielding Lake SRA, near Delta Junction: $25 non-peak / $35 peak per night
  • Birch Lake SRS, near Fairbanks: $25 non-peak / $35 peak per night;
    ice fishing huts, $15 per day
  • Chena River SRA; near Fairbanks:
    Trail Access Cabins $20 non-peak / $25 peak per night
    Road Access Cabins $40 non-peak / $50 pear per night
  • Salcha River SRS, near Fairbanks: $20 non-peak / $25 peak per night
Mat-Su/Copper Basin
  • Nancy Lake SRA, Willow:
    Lynx Lake cabins: $25 non-peak / $35 peak per night
    Nancy Lake, James Lake, and Red Shirt Lake cabins: $30 non-peak / $45 peak per night
    Bald Lake cabin: $45 non-peak / $60 peak per night
  • Denali SP, Byers Lake, near Trapper Creek: $45 non-peak / $60 peak per night
Kodiak
  • Afognak Island SP, Kodiak: $25 non-peak / $35 peak per night
  • Shuyak Island SP, Kodiak: $60 non-peak / $75 peak per night
Chugach
  • Chugach SP, Eklutna Lake: $40 non-peak / $50 peak per night
Kenai/Prince William Sound
  • Kachemak Bay SP, near Homer: $50 non-peak / $65 peak per night
    Mooses Valley $25 non-peak / $35 peak per night
  • Caines Head SRA, near Seward: $50 non-peak / $65 peak per night
  • Thumb Cove SMP, near Seward: $50 non-peak / $65 peak per night

Southeast
  • Grindall Island SMP, near Ketchikan: $25 non-peak / $35 peak per night
  • Oliver Inlet SMP, near Juneau: $25 non-peak / $35 peak per night

  • Shelter Island SMP, near Juneau: $25 non-peak / $35 peak per night

There is a $10 reservation fee when a cabin reservation is changed or canceled.

Special, non-commercial use permit: Starts at $25
