Alaska Conservation Corps
Alaska State Parks has seasonal jobs for Alaskans through the Alaska Conservation Corps (ACC). Tasks will vary and may include trail work, maintenance, fee station, or office work. ACC workers work a 20 - 40 hour week. To apply, fill out the application and return it to the park office(s) of your choice (addresses listed below). Most positions begin in late May or early June. Some offices will start recruitment as early as March. You may wish to call the office in the area you wish to work in, to find out what positions they are offering this year and when applications are being accepted. Some position information is below.

Fee Station Attendant / Visitor Information: |
Under the supervision of the Natural Resource Specialist will staff a fee station, gather use statistics and provide information to the public. May assist with park maintenance projects and janitorial service. The Kodiak Region State Parks Trail Crew helps manage and maintain over 30 miles of trail, dozens of trail structures, over a dozen trailheads, 10 Public Use Cabins, 8 picnic sites, and 3 campgrounds in 6 different state park units. Nine of the ten public use cabins and twenty miles of trail are accessible only by boat or float plane.
