Trail Description:
Because of the many historical artifacts of the famous Goldrush of 1898, this trail is one of the most inspiring trips in Alaska. The memories and images of the existing trail connect modern people to a different age and mentality better than any time travel machine. This trip, which usually is done in three days, takes a good amount of planning and coordination. The Canadian government will require fees and reservations done in advance to enter at Chilkoot Pass. For information call US National Park Service at Klondike-Goldrush National Historic Park in Skagway: 907-983-2921.
