Purchase

Parcel: 496-1051

Before You Purchase Land

Before you proceed you must understand and agree to the following instructions and terms:

The purchase application that you submit on-line is binding. Your down payment of at least 5% of the purchase price, document fee, and recording fee are non refundable.

It is your responsibility to fully review the information on this website and personally locate and thoroughly inspect the parcel before submitting a purchase application. Parcels are sold AS IS and WHERE IS with no warranty as to the land's fitness, use, or suitability for any particular purpose. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to verify that the land will meet his or her needs. DNR reserves the right to cancel a land sale at any time prior to the issuance of a contract or patent, if necessary to protect the interests of the State of Alaska. In the event DNR cancels a land sale, deposits will be refunded.

Processing Your Application

To complete a purchase application, you will need to submit a color copy of the government issued photo-ID for each purchaser, showing the full legal name and date of birth, to DNR. Details of how to submit IDs are included in the purchase confirmation you will receive by email and letter. Once you have submitted your IDs, DNR will begin reviewing and processing on your application.

Please be aware that processing times on a purchase application can range from several weeks (for a contract) to several months (for paid in full).

Until a contract or patent is used, no materials may be removed from the parcel and no construction or land clearing may take place. We remind you that any attempt to sell or transfer an interest in State land under application or contract without the prior written consent of the State of Alaska is invalid.
