Proof of Alaska Residency
Each winning parcel bidder must prove their Alaska residency, as detailed below. All residency items must include dates showing Alaska residency for at least one year before the auction.

Copy of Alaska Driver’s License(s) or State-ID card(s) for each bidder

Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) confirmation of eligibility for the current year, follow these directions:
- Visit: https://my.alaska.gov/
- Click the link “myPFD - View Status” under the “Services for Individuals” section.
- Enter your username and password and click “Sign in” (or register for a new myAlaska account by clicking "New User: Register for a myAlaska Account” if you do not have one; continue with the following steps once your account has been established.).
- Choose to receive a phone call or code via text message to authenticate your sign in.
- Take a screenshot, print, or photograph the web page, making sure it displays your name, address, and either an “ELIGIBLE” or “PAID” status for the current year’s PFD application status.
- Email the document to landsales@alaska.gov or mail it to: Land Conveyance Section, 550 West 7th Avenue, Suite 640, Anchorage, AK 99501.
- Employment, Unemployment, or Military records;
- Current and valid occupational licenses issued by the State of Alaska;
- Income tax records showing employment in Alaska;
- School records;
- Court or other government agency records.
*Note: A PFD Signature Page or eligibility status of “application received” cannot be accepted as residency proof for this program.

Applicants are required to submit as many items of proof of residency as needed to document the minimum of one full year of Alaska residency. If you are relying on an item not specifically listed above, cannot supply any of the above items, or have questions about residency, please call the Land Conveyance Section at (907) 269-8594.
