DNR's Public Information Center (PIC) counters in Anchorage and Fairbanks provide "one stop shopping" for customer service. Customers can get applications, make payments, and get information on DNR programs concerning mining, land, water, parks, geology, forestry, and oil and gas.

In Juneau, the Division of Mining, Land & Water provides a Southeast Land Section Information Desk where customers can obtain applications for land-use authorizations and material sales, pay land-use fees, and seek information about state lands, including land sales.
