Paleontological Resources
Few paleontological sites are recorded in the AHRS database. Paleontological researchers are directed to the University of Alaska Museum, Earth Sciences Collection (UAMES) and the Arctos database. The Bureau of Land Management Alaska has published general guidance on the collection of fossils from federal and state lands in Alaska.
