The Alaska Boating Safety Program has many local, state, and national partners that share our passion for recreational boating safety. Many of these partners offer amazing boating safety resources, including classes, photos and videos, online tools, events, and more.

Alaska Marine Safety Education Association (AMSEA)

AMSEA has been offering marine safety training to commercial fishermen and thousands of other mariners since 1985. With a network of instructors based in port communities on Alaska, Pacific, Gulf and Atlantic coasts, they provide affordable, effective, hands-on marine safety training close to home.

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary

Since 1939 the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary has safeguarded our Nation’s maritime interests in the heartland, in the ports, at sea, and around the globe. Members from all walks of life bring their training and experience as a member of the uniformed volunteer component of the United States Coast Guard.

U.S. Coast Guard Boating Safety Division

The U.S. Coast Guard's Boating Safety Division (CG-BSX-2) is dedicated to reducing loss of life, injuries, and property damage that occur on U.S. waterways by improving the knowledge, skills, and abilities of recreational boaters.

National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA)

The National Association of State Boating Law Administrators is a national nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization that works to develop public policy for recreational boating safety. NASBLA represents the recreational boating authorities of all 50 states and the U.S. territories.

National Safe Boating Council

Founded in 1958, the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) serves as a national catalyst for developing a safe boating culture by providing educational resources, outreach programming, and training opportunities for industry partners and the boating community to influence safe, secure, and responsible boating.

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium

ANTHC is a non-profit Tribal health organization designed to meet the health needs of Alaska Native and American Indian people throughout the state of Alaska.
