Thanks for helping to successfully get through another fire season fellow Alaskans.  As of September 1st, we no longer require burn permits.  Permits will be back in affect as of April 1st 2025.  While you no longer need a permit outside of Alaska fire season, you must still attend your fire, have it in a safe place, and not leave before it is fully extinguished.  Be safe this fall and winter.
