Overview
In operation since 2018, fresh365 features 3 40' hydroponic grow containers that produce fresh greens, herbs, microgreens, and gourmet mushrooms year-round. We are the only year-round growing facility on the Kenai Peninsula, one of a few in the entire state. We have started to expand our growing operation to include agrivoltaics with our partner business Peninsula Solar. In 2025 we transplanted raspberry plants to grow beneath the solar panels on our 300kW solar farm site, and in 2026, we will transplant strawberry plants that were grown in the fresh365 indoor farm to under the panels. We are also in the midst of turning the "field of clay" where the solar farm is located into farmable land by amending the clay with compost from our hydroponic farm, espresso shop (coffee grounds) and restaurant (food scraps), and adding mushroom compost from our gourmet mushroom far and will plant our first crop of potatoes and other root vegetables in the spring of 2026.
