Welcome to the Forestry Online Application System Homepage.

The Online Application System (OLAS) is a powerful but simple to use tool for vendors, and Fire Departments to register equipment, services, apply for Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant (VFA) awards and for the state to be able to contact Fire Departments and hire vendors electronically. This will simplify the hiring process and grant awarding process for Division of Forestry employees and for the vendors, and Fire Departments themselves. OLAS will evolve as additional features are added or new applications are developed. OLAS will evolve as additional features are added or new applications are developed.

ATTENTION! As of April 1, 2020, vendors are required to obtain and upload a copy of their Business License, Commercial General Liability Insurance, Commercial Auto Liability Insurance (for road vehicles), W-9 and Workers Comp (for those who have employees who will operate equipment). If you do not obtain and upload all required documents your equipment will be considered non-compliant in the OLAS system, last hired and first released from an incident. These documents only need to be submitted through the Vendor Profile; all equipment registered from the profile will be updated.

First time users including vendors and fire departments are required to register by setting up an account. This will give the user a Username and Password, required to enter or edit any data regarding their contact information, upload a copy of their Business License, Workers Comp (if needed), Commercial General Liability Insurance, and Commercial Auto Liability Insurance (for road vehicles only), fire department or equipment offered, etc. A vendor must also log in to view or print agreements or paperwork generated when the state has contacted the vendor to hire their equipment or use their services.

Click the Register Now! button at the top of the page to register, or register if you are at the Equipment Homepage.

Once you are registered, you log into your account using your username and password. A compete explanation of the Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant program or equipment requirements or registration information is included at the homepage for the separate programs.

Select the Log-In tab above to navigate to the Volunteer Fire assistance Grants or Equipment site.

If you have equipment you wish to rent to the state (or you want to edit information you have already entered), navigate to the homepage by clicking on the Login button above and Equipment. Equipment includes such things as trucks, heavy equipment (dozers, graders, etc.), engines, other support equipment (boats, chainsaws, trailers), etc.
