Summer Naturalist Program for 2012:
Saturday, July 7th at 7 p.m - "A Walk Through Time: The Military History of Kodiak"
Saturday, July 14th at 7 p.m - "Marine Invasive Species...Have They Made It to Kodiak?"
Saturday, July 21rd at 7 p.m - "A Historical Overview of Kodiak's Sport Fisheries Enchancement Projgram"
Saturday, July 28th at 7 p.m - "Underwater Photography Around the Kodiak Archipelago"

All events meet at the Fort Abercrombie Visitor Center and are led by the volunteers unless otherwise noted.
These events are sponsored by Friends of Kodiak State Parks, which is supported by donations and the Kodiak State Parks Bookstore located in the Visitor Center.

Summer Tidepooling at the Park
Join the Park Naturalist as we explore the intertidal zone and learn
about the inhabitants who call it home! Be sure to wear weatherappropriate
gear and bring rubber boots. Meet at the Visitor Center
All ages are welcome!

Children's Stories and Crafts
Join the Park Naturalist and guests for storytelling and related crafts.
Children should wear weather - and craft - appropriate clothing. Story
and craft activities will be held at the group recreation site or, if foul
weather, at the visitor's center.
Recommended for ages 3-8 years old!
