Beach Trail to Caines Head State Recreation Area

Please note that the beach areas shown in these photos are covered by water at high tide. Be sure to know when the tides are in/out and hike the trail at low tide.

Beach Trail
The beach is gravel with areas of larger rocks.
Rock outcropping create a "tight spot" in the Caines Head Beach Trail. At a very low tide, the water recedes below this outcropping. Otherwise, hikers must navigate over the very slippery stone.
