Unalaska South Channel (Amaknak) Bridge Project

The following documents contain information on aspects of the Unalaska South Channel (Amaknak) Bridge Project which relate to project review under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. They include: (1) a project overview handout from the 3/15/06 public meeting, (2) a cultural resources handout from the 3/15/06 public meeting, (3) the 2003 Memorandum of Agreement, (4) the 2003 data recovery plan which guided Dr. Knecht's excavations at UNL-050, (5) a one-page overview of the salvage recovery plan, and (6) the salvage recovery plan with graphics.
