How do I make Cabin Reservations online?

You must be able to print your receipt and parking permit
when you make reservations.

COOKIES MUST BE ACCEPTED for the pages used to rent/pay for cabins. Otherwise the session times out.

Find the cabin of your choice then check the available cabin date. Dates with the # sign are not available. The "Make Reservation" link is below the cabin name in green.

Read the terms and conditions of online reservations. By clicking the "I Agree" you are authorizing the State of Alaska to make your reservations and charge your credit card for the reservation fee. In addition, you are aware of and agree to all the terms on this page.

Please enter your intended check-in and check-out dates. Enter required information and click on the "Submit" button. Payment must be made in full when you make the reservation.

Continue to the next page and review the summary of your reservations. If the information is correct proceed to the payment page. If not, make corrections.

Making reservations online with your credit card is convenient and safe. Alaska State Parks uses a Secure Commerce Server that works with Netscape, Internet Explorer and most web browsers to encrypt your credit card information as it is sent to secure sites. When you see the blue key or a closed lock at the bottom of your screen, you can make payments with confidence.

Internet reservations are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Advance Reservations
Whether you call or go online, you may make reservations the same day up to 7 months in advance of your first night's stay. "Seven months in advance" counts back to the nearest business day. If you count back seven months from the date you want to rent a cabin, and end up on a weekend or holiday, the next business day is the earliest you may make a reservation online or on the phone. Our business days start at 10 a.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.

Length of stay
Length of stay is limited up to 5 consecutive days within any 30-day period depending on the cabin.

Payment and payment methods
Payment is required when you make an online reservation by credit card only. Payment can be made by either VISA or MasterCard.

Check-in, check-out
The earliest you may check-in to all cabins is 12:00 noon. Check-out time is 12:00 noon the following day or last day of reservation.
Ice hut rental check-in is 12:01 am to 11:59 pm the day of the rental. No overnight camping.

Changes or Cancellations
Changes or cancellations must be made through the Public Information Center at 269-8400 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Any change made to a reservation is subject to a $10 non-refundable transaction fee and must be made 7 days prior to your first night stay. Please have your reservation number available when changing a reservation. A cabin credit will be issued for cancellations, less the $10 service fee and are valid for one year from issue date.

Emergency closures
In the event of a natural emergency or sudden campground closure, a full cabin credit will be issued.
