How do I make Cabin Reservations online?
You must be able to print your receipt and parking permit
when you make reservations.
COOKIES MUST BE ACCEPTED for the pages used to rent/pay for cabins. Otherwise the session times out. Please do not make reservations on a smart phone, programming is incompatible and you will need a printed receipt to access the cabins. Do not use the back button or bookmark your reservation, you will receive a confirmation via email with all your receipts.
Find the cabin of your choice then check the available cabin date. Dates with the # sign are not available. The "Make Reservation" link is below the cabin name in green.
Read the terms and conditions of online reservations. By clicking the "I Agree" you are authorizing the State of Alaska to make your reservations and charge your credit card for the reservation fee. In addition, you are aware of and agree to all the terms on this page.
Please enter your intended check-in and check-out dates. Enter required information and click on the "Submit" button. Payment must be made in full when you make the reservation.
Continue to the next page and review the summary of your reservations. If the information is correct proceed to the payment page. If not, make corrections. If you make corrections the Alaska Resident button will reset to non-resident. Continue to online payment page.
Making reservations online with your credit card is convenient and safe. Alaska State Parks uses a Secure Commerce Server that works with Netscape, Internet Explorer and most web browsers to encrypt your credit card information as it is sent to secure sites. When you see the blue key or a closed lock at the bottom of your screen, you can make payments with confidence.
Whether you call or go online, you may make reservations the same day up to 7 months in advance of your first night's stay. "Seven months in advance" counts back to the nearest business day. If you count back seven months from the date you want to rent a cabin, and end up on a weekend or holiday, the next business day is the earliest you may make a reservation online or on the phone. Our business days start at 10 a.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Length of stay
Length of stay is limited to the maximum days allowed per cabin within any 30-day period.
