If you are paying by check and are providing alternative dates of various duration or alternative cabins of different cost, please send checks to cover alternatives. We only accept exact payment for cabins with checks. Example: If you request three nights with an alternative of two nights, please include a check for two nights and a separate check for the third night. If we can only book the shorter stay, the extra check and the confirmed reservation for two nights will be mailed back to you.

Please remember that cabin fees are not refundable. You must have your permit/receipt to change a reservation or receive a cabin credit. A $10 service fee will be charged for changing or cancelling any cabin or ice hut reservation. A cabin credit can be issued if: 1) we receive your cancellation or change seven calendar days in advance from the first day of the reservation. 2) after seven calendar days, the cabin cannot be used due to events beyond your control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, family emergency, or by some fault of the Department. Cabin credits are good for one year. Cabin credits can be used one time only, and only for cabin reservations. Cabins reserved with credit may not be changed, or cancelled for credit, since credit cannot be re-issued.

Please read the general cabin information, the information on reservations and fees as well as the specific cabin descriptions, which also have cabin availability and access. Be sure you check cabin availability. Cabin reservations can be made on line by accessing the cabin availability page. For more information, see on line cabin reservations.
