Cabin Access Summary |
|
|
Most of our cabins
are in the backcountry, requiring some physical effort to get to since
there is no road access. The following provides a cabin access summary
using four categories: drive up, short distance (less than one mile),
semi-remote (one to twelve miles) and remote (no land access - by water
or air only). In additional, we have this same information in chart form
as a pdf file (see below). Access information on this page and in the
chart is incomplete since it is a summary. For complete information on
an individual cabin and how to get there, go to Cabin
Descriptions by area of the state. Note: For winter access, snowmachine use is permitted only when there is sufficient snow cover. Click here for the Cabin Access Summary Chart (pdf file). Note: you must have Acrobat Reader 3.0 or greater to open a pdf file. Go to the Adobe Acrobat website to download this free software. Drive Up: Chena River Cabin in Chena
