How to Get There:
Via commercial jetliner to Juneau International Airport, then take a taxi or bus to downtown locations. Taxi can drive to trailhead in Last Chance Basin. Also, via Alaska Marine Highway System ferry to Auke Bay, then take bus or taxi to downtown Juneau. Many cruise ships arrive in downtown harbor. Several tour companies provide guided walks on the trail. A brochure is available at the local information centers downtown describing access, the trail and historical features

Trail Description:
From the end of the road system in Last Chance Basin, the trail, which is actually the old gold mining access road to the valley above, traverses the side of the canyon between 3500' peaks. Many mountain and stream views, including good view of Ebner Falls. Lush forest vegetation and rocky outcroppings.
