  Difficulty: Beginners to advance users.
  Activity: Dog sledding, skiing, ski-joring, snowmachining, public-use cabins, campgrounds, backpacking, hiking, river floating, OHVs, gold panning
  Length: 200 miles of winter trails, and 37 miles of non-motorized hiking

  How to Get There:
White Mountains National Recreation Area trailheads are located on the Elliott Highway at MP 28 and 57, and on the Steese Highway at MP 42 and 57. at Wickersham Dome Trailhead..
     Nearest Town:
Livengood, Fox and Fairbanks
