Data from the DNR Status Plats is compiled from current plats twice monthly and updated in the DNR MapGuide database each week. Other data, such as the statewide information, is only updated occasionally as the data rarely changes. Please review the metadata associated with each layer to determine when the it was last updated.

State Grant Land Alternate is the same data as State Grant Land. It is displayed with a different fill pattern so you can use it to see the Grant Land Boundaries when the USGS Topo Images are displayed.

State Selected	General Land Status ArcInfo Coverage. Current as of February, 2005.	Data displayed includes all sections which contain a value greater than or equal to 1 in the State Selected Land attribute (SFLAG) of the statewide general land status coverage. See the General Land Status Metadata on ASGDC for detailed information on the coverage.
Infrastructure	DNR - Status Plats	Infrastructure contains data depicting the most important portions of the state's transportation and communications network.

Anadromous Fish Streams	ADF&G	ADF&G separates the Anadromous stream data by regions; Arctic, Interior, Southcentral, Southeast, Southwest and Western. The information you are viewing is the 2005 data from all regions combined. The data was downloaded on May 4, 2005 and processed to make it viewable in MapGuide. CSU's - Conservation System Unit Boundaries	DNR - Statewide Coverage	Federal conservation system units (CSU) were created by the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (ANILCA) of 1980. CSU Metadata
Parks/Preserves, etc. (LDA's)	DNR - Status Plats	Legislative Restrictions contains data regarding areas established by the legislature for management of forest; recreational and historical purposes; to protect and preserve natural habitat for fish and or/ wildlife; and special restrictions not specifically tied to any of the above purposes.
LDA's for Manual Plat Areas	DNR - Statewide Coverage (Adminbnd) Data from Oracle Spatial Coverage and includes only areas managed by the State. (Used admin >5999 to restrict data being displayed.) Labels are different than labels on data from status plats. These labels will only include the LDA Name.	Legislative Restrictions contains data regarding areas established by the legislature for management of forest; recreational and historical purposes; to protect and preserve natural habitat for fish and or/ wildlife; and special restrictions not specifically tied to any of the above purposes. This layer represents areas managed by the state and includes areas where there is no status plat data. Digital status plat data may be unavailable to MapGuide because the township plat is manual, in the process of being converted or on the "requested" list. Please see the Administrative Large Parcel Boundaries metadata for details about the data.
