TRAILS ADVISORY BOARD RECRUITING FOR MEMBER TO REPRESENT SOUTHWEST ALASKA
(Anchorage, AK) – The Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation invites interested parties with special knowledge, experience, and interest in outdoor recreation and grant-funded programs to apply for a vacant seat on the Outdoor Recreational Trails Advisory Board representing Kodiak/Southwest Alaska. Applications are currently being accepted.
The primary role of the ORTAB is to assist in the evaluation of grant proposals for the Recreational Trails Grant and Land and Water Conservation Fund programs. ORTAB members may also be asked for advice on other subjects, such as the review of proposals for State Park land acquisitions.

DPOR intends to select an individual that can represent the regional character of the areas mentioned. Once appointed, this position will last for a term of three years.
