Notice of Right-of-Way Amendment Application: Badami Sales Oil Pipeline

The Commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources, pursuant to Alaska Statute (AS) 38.35.070, hereby gives notice that Savant Alaska, LLC, on behalf of Nutaaq Pipeline, LLC, submitted a request to amend the Badami Sales Oil Pipeline Right-of-Way Lease, ADL 415472, to add approximately 0.22 acres of land adjacent to the Badami Central Production Facility pad.

The purpose of the request is to add lands associated with the installation of approximately 55 feet of new pipeline and the tie-in connecting the Badami Sales Oil Pipeline to the Point Thomson Export Pipeline. Construction is anticipated to begin in July 2015 with the construction of temporary gravel pads. Installation of the pipe and the piggable wye will occur in early September 2015.

Notice of Right-of-Way Amendment Application: Trans-Alaska Pipeline System

The Commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources, pursuant to Alaska Statute (AS) 38.35.070, hereby gives notice that Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, as agent for the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) lessees, submitted a request to amend the right-of-way lease for the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, ADL 63574, to add approximately 0.8 acres of land near pipeline milepost (PLMP) 67.7.

The purpose of the request is to add lands for installation of a deep anode groundbed to enhance the existing groundbed and corrosion protection of the buried TAPS mainline. The anode groundbed will be composed of an 8-inch diameter drilled angle hole, cased with steel pipe, and will be approximately 300 feet in depth.

Donlin Gold ROW application public comment period closed

The State Pipeline Coordinator's Office has concluded the public hearings and comment period on the Donlin Gold natural gas pipeline right-of-way lease application. All comments relevant to Alaska Statute 38.35 are being considered and will be addressed in the Commissioner's Analysis and Preliminary Decision.

There will be another opportunity to submit comments on this proposed pipeline project during the Commissioner's Analysis public review period, expected to begin in spring of 2016.
