Alaska CIAP Plan

December 2010 Amendment - APPROVED FEBRUARY 4, 2011

On February 4, 2011 the U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation, and Enforcement (BOEMRE) approved the December 2010 Amendment to the Alaska CIAP Plan. In accordance with the Federal Energy Policy Act of 2005 (Act), which established CIAP, the Alaska CIAP plan describes how the state and its eligible Coastal Political Subdivisions (CPSs) will use and manage their CIAP allocation. Per the Act, the CIAP allocation directly to the State of Alaska is $51,614,839.22 and $27,792,605.74 to the state’s eight eligible CPSs (combined).
