4. Who is the Division of Coastal and Ocean Management? The Division of Coastal and Ocean Management (DCOM) is home to the ACMP. Located in the Department of Natural Resources, DCOM is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the ACMP. In this role, DCOM provides assistance to applicants, coastal districts, and state agencies in carrying out their duties and responsibilities under the ACMP. DCOM has connections throughout the ACMP network. As such, your first ACMP contact should probably be one of DCOM's helpful Project Review Coordinators. DCOM also serves as the coordinator for the consistency review process if your project requires a federal permit or permits from more than one state agency.
