Small Scale Burn Permit Application for the Delta Area

Safe Burning Practices

You are obtaining a Small Scale Burn Permit.

You must read the basic information provided below, as well as the entire Small Scale Burn Permit once it is printed out and before you actively begin burning.

  • You must be 18 years of age to obtain a permit
  • It must be read the permit in its entirety before actively burning
  • You must sign, date, and put the location you are burning at on the permit
  • You must call the Burn Permit phone number listed on the front of the permit, or check this website each day before burning or if weather conditions change.
  • You must have the permit on you when burning
  • Do NOT burn on windy days     https://www.weather.gov/arh/
  • This permit only allows you to burn organic/wood debris, paper and cardboard.
  • This permit only allows you to operate ONE burn barrel at a time, burn less than ONE acre of maintained grass less 4" in height, OR burn ONE brush pile less than 10' in diameter by 4’ in height at a time.
  • Failure to follow the guidelines established on the Burn Permit or that violate Wildland Fire Protection Statutes and Regulations may result in a Citation and/or further legal action.
  • YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERY FIRE YOU SET UNTIL IT IS COMPLETLEY OUT AND COLD TO THE TOUCH
